Grappa di Sangiovese
The accurate distillation endows the Poggio Bonelli Grappa with all of Sangiovese’s great aromatic complexity. Bright amber in colour, it opens to the palate with hints of fl owers and berries recalling the grapes themselves. Complex vinous nuances resulting from the fermentation are enriched with undertones of honey, peach and apricot. Its alcohol is elegantly balanced to provide a warm, expansive fl avour, reminiscent of vanilla and liquorice on the fi nish.
